Florence Julia Horden

Horden, Florence Julia, was born at Bonninghall, Shropshire, and spent most of the early part of her life at Leamington Spa, and is the wife of Mr. F. P. Horden, the manager of Barclays Bank, High Street branch, Newport. Mrs. Horden is a member of the Newport Infantile Health Committee, and during the war was actively engaged as Commandant of the Auxiliary Red Cross Hospital at Brynglas. For her devoted services in this latter capacity she was awarded the honour of Member of the British Empire Order, being decorated by the King. Address: Bassalleg road.
